Iran Executes Four Kurds

HENGAW — Iranian authorities executed four Kurdish inmates on Tuesday in Urmia, Western Azerbaijan province.

Hengaw Organization for Human Rights learned that the men were given death penalty over murder cases.

The execution was carried out early morning at the central prison of Urmia.

The executed men were identified as “Hemin Banawand, Mahmoud Khaledi, Jafaar Mohammadi, and Mohammed Aref Najafian”.
