Hengaw: The judiciary of the Iranś government condemned a citizen from Urmia to six years' imprisonment on charges of cooperating with Kurdish opposition parties.

On Saturday, December 16th, the Revolutionary Court of the Urmia condemned a citizen with the identity of Ahmad Rastgari to 6 years imprisonment.

Ahmad Rastgari was charged with "membership in one of the Kurdish parties to the Iranian government's opposition" to five years in prison and was sentenced to 1-year imprisonment for "propaganda against the regime".

This verdict on Monday, December 24th was officially announced, to Ahmad Rastgari In the Urmia Prison.

Ahmad Rastgari was arrested by the government's security forces on October 7, 2018, and is currently being maintained at section 10 of Urmia Central Prison.
