Majid Karimi, a teacher from Saqqez and a member of the board of directors of the Teachers' Union was arrested

Majidi Karimi, a teacher from Saqqez and a member of the board of directors of the Kurdistan Teachers' Union - Sanandaj and Kalatarzan, was arrested by the Revolutionary Guards intelligence forces on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, and transferred to an unknown location. 
 
An informed source told Hengaw,  "Majidi Karimi has been arrested by plainclothes forces riding a white Peugeot car when he went in front of the IRGC intelligence building with a group of teachers for following the fate of Massoud Farhikhteh." 
  
Massoud Farhikhteh, a teacher in Islamshahr of Alborz province and a member of the Coordinating Council and Negotiating Committee for the Release of Teachers, who had participated in a protest rally in front of the Sanandaj Education Building today, was detained after the rally in the terminal by security forces. 
 
It is worth mentioning that in the rally in front of the Sanandaj Education Department building, the final statement of the teachers' protest rally in support of the detained teachers, including Sha'ban Mohammadi, Massoud Nik Khah, and Eskandar Lotfi, was read by Majid Karimi. 
 
As of this writing, there is no exact information available about the reasons for the arrest and whereabouts of Majid Karimi, a teacher from Saqez, who is teaching in Sanandaj.
