 During the recent protests against the murder of Zhina (Mahsa) Amini by the Iranian government, at least six Kurdish teachers named Hossein Taheri, Siamak Baneyi, Saeed Naseri, Amjad Bakhtiar, Haji Kemeshadi and Masoumeh Rashidi, have been arrested by the Iranian security agencies.


 According to the report received by The Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, Hossein Taheri, one of the teachers of the Sarovabad Education Department, was arrested after being summoned to the Sarovabad Intelligence office.
 

 On the same day, Saeed Naseri, one of the teachers of the Sanandaj Department of Education, was also arrested by the Iranian security forces at his home, and his fate is still unknown.

 On the other hand, Mohammad Peshami, one of the retired teachers from Oshnaviyeh, was arrested in early October and is currently in custody at Urmia Central Prison.
 

 Hengaw has been informed that Dr. Siamak Banyei, a teacher of the Bukan Education Department, was also kidnapped by the Iranian security forces on Sunday, October 2, 2022, and his fate is still unknown.
 

 Amjad Bakhtiari, a 48-year-old teacher from Dehgolan, was arrested at 2 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2022, by Iranian security agencies and taken to a security detention center in Sanandaj.

 Hengaw reported earlier that Masoumeh Rashidi, one of the teachers of the Sanandaj Department of Education, was also arrested and is currently being held in the correctional center of this city.
