Three prisoners, including two women, executed in Ilam Prison

The death sentences of at least three Kurdish prisoners, including two women, previously convicted of premeditated murder, were carried out in Ilam Central Prison. The identity of one of the executed prisoners has been confirmed as Hassan Hassanbeigi.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Tuesday, December 3, 2024, the death sentences of a man identified as Hassan Hassanbeigi, a resident of Sarab Karzan in Shirvan and Chardavol County, along with two women whose identities are still under investigation, were carried out in Ilam Central Prison.

Hengaw has learned that these three prisoners had been separately convicted of premeditated murder by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

To date, the news of the execution of these three prisoners has not been announced in state media or media affiliated with the judiciary.
