Sardasht: Kurdish Kolbar injured by Iran Border Guards’ Gunfire

Shahin Rasul Hasan, a Kolbar from Sardasht, sustained serious injuries after being shot by Iranian border guards in the mountainous border regions of Sardasht County.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, the incident occurred on the evening of Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in the Jasuson border area. Shahin Rasul Hasan, a resident of the village of Doletou in Sardasht County, was targeted by Iranian border guards while working as a Kolbar. He suffered a gunshot wound to his left calf, inflicted by a Kalashnikov rifle.

Due to the severity of his injuries, Shahin Rasul Hasan was promptly transported to medical facilities in Sardasht for urgent treatment.
