Border forces seriously wound kolbar Hassan Mostafazadeh near Baneh

Iranian border forces seriously wounded Hassan Mostafazadeh, a Kurdish kolbar, after opening direct fire while he was transporting goods across the Hengezhal border area near Baneh. He was transferred to a medical center in Tabriz due to the severity of his injuries.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mostafazadeh, a 49-year-old kolbar from the Rabat district of Sardasht County and the father of three, was shot at around noon on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, while transporting goods across the Hengezhal border area.

He was initially taken to a medical center in Baneh before being transferred to Tabriz because of his critical condition.
