Bita Vaisi, a physical education student at Sanandaj Technical and Vocational College for Girls, was abducted by Iranian government forces yesterday due to protests at this college.

Bita Vaisi, a 20-year-old from Paveh, was abducted by government forces on Saturday, December 10, 2022, during student demonstrations at Sanandaj Technical and Vocational College for Girls, according to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.

After being abducted in front of her college building in Sanandaj's Keshavarz town, the whereabouts of this student remain unknown, and her reported condition is uncertain.

According to the most recent statistics recorded in the Statistics and Documents Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at least 78 Kurdish students were detained or abducted by Iranian government forces between September 17, 2022, and December 11, 2022.
