In the continuation of widespread arrests by the Iranian government forces in the city of Javanroud, nine Kurdish citizens named Ramsin Rahimi, 16 years old, Farhad Manouchehri, Farzad Majidi, Sasan Bahrami, Arslan Nazari, Mikael Waisi, Yahya Moradi, Hossam Mohammadi Tabar, and Navid Moradi, both 18 years old, were arrested.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, these Kurdish citizens from Javanrud were kidnapped by the Iranian government forces during the evening of Monday, January 2, 2023, and the early hours of Tuesday, January 3.

In the meantime, 18-year-old Hossam Mohammadi was abducted by Iranian government forces in the "Saadi" street of this city, and his fate is unknown.

Also, information about the condition of 16-year-old Ramsin Rahimi, 18-year-old Navid Moradi, Farhad Manouchehri, 19-year-old Farzad Majidi, Sasan Bahrami, Arslan Waisi, Mikael Waisi, and Yahya Moradi has not been made available after their arrest.

According to informed sources from the city of Javanrud, the Iranian government forces have transferred the arrested people to one of the security detention centers.

It is worth noting that Hengaw announced earlier, by publishing a video, that the number of people arrested this morning was reported to be more than 30 and that the people were arrested with violence.

Twelve citizens from this city were arrested this week. They are identified as Sadegh Mustafaei, Fereydoun Ahmadi, Yaser Hedayati, Idris Badiei, Shahin Khodamoradi, Osama Yousefi, Yahya Abdi, Idris Fathi, Saadi Qaderi, Payam Sediqi, Kayvan Sarchami, and Bardiya Azizi.
