A Kolbar from Salmas identified as Shoresh Khargoushi was killed by direct fire from border regiment forces while Kolbaring in the border heights of Bane city.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, a 33-year-old Kolbar from Salmas named Shoresh Khargoushi was killed on the morning of Tuesday, January 9, 2024, by direct fire from border regiment forces while kolbaring at the border of Hangazhal in Baneh.
According to Hengaw sources, Kolbar was hit by two bullets in the chest, and his body was not handed over to his family until the time of writing this news.
Shoresh Khargoushi is married and has a child. He is from the "Zaviyeh Jik" village of Salmas city.
Based on the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documents Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, during 2023, the killing of Kolbars has increased significantly compared to previous years, in such a way that 41 Kolbars and tradesmen were killed and at least 292 Kolbars were injured.
