In the last two days, at least eight Kurdish Kolbars from various cities in Kermanshah province have sustained injuries due to direct fire from Iranian government forces at the border of Nowsud, Kermanshah province.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, Iranian border regiment forces opened fire on a group of Kolbars at the Nowsud border, resulting in injuries to at least five individuals.

The identities of these five injured Kolbars, hailing from Dalahu, Javanroud, Salas-e Babajani, and Paveh, have been confirmed to Hengaw as: Mohammad Mahmoud, Mohammad Yousefi, Ehsan Nazari, Omid Shamsi, and Yasin (last name unknown). They have been transferred to medical centers in Paveh for treatment, with one of them reported to be in critical condition.

Additionally, early yesterday morning, a Kolbar named Saman Rostami from Javanroud, along with two others, sustained injuries in the same border area due to direct gunfire from border regiment forces. The identities of these two individuals have not yet been confirmed. Hengaw possesses video footage of the incident, showing the injuries sustained by these three Kolbars.
