Iranian border guards shot and wounded Four Kurdish Kolbars at Sarvabad border in Kurdistan province

Four Kurdish Kolbars (cross-border porters), identified as Sirwan Tak from Sanandaj, Saman (last name unspecified), from Marivan, and two others named Amir and Siamak (last names unspecified), both from Banah, were targeted directly by the Iranian government forces at the Tata border in Sarvabad, Kurdistan province, and severely wounded.

According to a report received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, March 30, 2024, Sirwan Tak from Qalaa Sheykhan village in Sanandaj, two other Kolbars from Banah named Amir and Siamak, and Saman, a Kolbar from Marivan, were shot and wounded by direct gunfire from border guards at the Sarvabad border.

It is important to note that all four Kolbars were transferred to medical centers due to the severity and depth of their injuries.
