Kurdish Kolbar dies of cardiac arrest while crossing the border

A Kurdish Kolbar from Javanroud, in Kermanshah province, identified as Omar Moradi, lost his life due to cardiac arrest while transporting goods across the “Dezawar” border region near Paveh.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, April 17, 2025, the body of Omar Moradi, a 35-year-old kolbar from the village of Safiabad in Javanrud County, was found in the border area of Paveh.

The cause of death has been reported as a heart attack triggered during the physically demanding labor working as a Kolbar, compounded by severe cold exposure.
