Kurdish Tradesman Fatally Shot by Border Forces

Mohammad Ghaderi, a Kurdish tradesman and father of Faive  from Baneh, was tragically killed by direct fire from IRGC border forces at the city's borders.

According to a report obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, border forces stationed at the "Galeh-Sour" border in Baneh city opened fire, resulting in the death of Mohammad Ghaderi.

Hengaw sources indicate that the incident occurred near "Kāneks-e Xarjak" and involved the use of a Kalashnikov rifle, with bullets striking Ghaderi's body at close range, without prior warning.

As of the drafting of this report, Mohammad Ghaderi's remains have not been returned to his family. He hailed from the village of "Shuy" in Baneh, was married, and leaves behind Faive children.
