Iranian Security Forces Detain two Kurdish men: Whereabouts Unknown After 10 Days

Sohaib Eqbali and Arvin Eqbali, residents of Paveh, Kermanshah (Kermashan) Province, have been detained by the security agencies of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the past 10 days, with their conditions and whereabouts remaining unknown.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, 10 days have passed since the arrest of Sohaib Eqbali, 31, and Arvin Eqbali by intelligence forces. Despite their families' persistent inquiries, the location and status of these individuals remain undisclosed.
A source close to the Eqbali family reported that the two men were arrested on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, during a raid by intelligence forces on their homes. The agents did not present any judicial documents during the raid and subsequently transferred the men to a detention center in Kermanshah (Kermashan) city.
Until the time of writing this news, no specific information has been provided regarding the reasons for the arrests or the charges against the two men. Additionally, they have not been allowed any contact with their families.
