Death Sentence of Two Prisoners Executed in Iranian Prisons

The death sentences of two prisoners, Nader Khosravi from Qazvin and Nasrollah Ayoubi from Ahvaz, were carried out in Zanjan Central Prison. Both prisoners had been previously sentenced to death for drug-related offenses.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, the executions took place on June 5, 2024. The prisoners were identified as Nasrollah Ayoubi, a 27-year-old Arab from Ahvaz, and Nader Khosravi, a 33-year-old Turk from Qazvin.
Nasrollah Ayoubi and Nader Khosravi were arrested two and three years ago, respectively, in separate incidents. They were subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran for drug-related crimes.
As of the time of this report, the executions have not been announced in government media, particularly those closely associated with the Iranian judicial system.
