Tehran: Rana Korkor, Sister of Mojahed Korkor, Arrested by Iranian Security Forces

Rana Korkor, the sister of Mojahed Korkor, who was arrested in connection with the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement and sentenced to death in the Kian Pirfalak case, was arrested by security forces in Tehran.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, July 4, 2024, Rana Korkor, the sister of Mojahed Korkor, who was arrested in connection with the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement and sentenced to death in Kian Pirfalak case, was arrested by security forces at her home in Tehran and transferred to an unknown location.
Negar Korkor, Mojahed Korkor's sister, announced this news on her X (formerly Twitter) account, stating: "This morning, my sister was arrested by security forces at her residence in Tehran and transferred to an unknown location."
It is noteworthy that Mojahed Korkor was wounded and subsequently arrested on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, during an armed attack by the Revolutionary Guards forces on the village of "Porsurakh" in the Izeh district.
In April 2023, Mojahed Korkor was sentenced to death by the Ahvaz Revolutionary Court, and this sentence was confirmed by Branch 39 of the Supreme Court of Iran on Sunday, December 24, 2023.
