Kurdish man from Divandarreh arrested by the Iranian government’s forces

Kurosh Sharifpour, a Kurdish man from Divandareh in Kurdistan Province, was arrested by Iranian government forces and subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, July 4, 2024, Kurosh Sharifpour, a 45-year-old resident of Divandarreh, was detained by Iranian Intelligence forces.

Kurosh Sharifpour was arrested at his barber shop by individuals in two Peugeot cars affiliated with the Iranian Intelligence Department, according to informed sources.

Currently, there is no detailed information regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges he faces, or his current whereabouts.
