Iranian Security Forces Arrest Two Arab Civil Rights Activists in Shushtar

Ali Cha'bāvi and Mostafa Bātouli, Arab civil activists from Shushtar, a city in Khuzestan province, have been arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in recent days.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, last week, Ali Cha'bāvi and Mostafa Bātouli, both 22 years old and residents of Andisheh neighborhood in Shushtar, were arrested by security forces in this city.

According to informed sources, after their arrest by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, these two civil activists have been transferred to an unknown location, and efforts to follow up on their status have so far been unsuccessful.
