A man Arrested by Iranian Security Forces in Tehran

Amir Fa'al Iraqi, a 34-year-old resident of Tehran, was arrested by the intelligence forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). His current whereabouts are unknown.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 27, 2024, IRGC intelligence forces raided the family home of Amir Fa'al Iraqi in Tehran. He was arrested and transferred to an undisclosed location.
A source close to Fa'al Iraqi's family reported that the IRGC intelligence forces arrested him on charges of "propaganda against the government" in cyberspace and threatened the family against mediating his arrest.
To date, there is no accurate information about the whereabouts of Amir Fa'al Iraqi. Efforts by his family to obtain information have been fruitless.
