Iranian Judiciary Seizes Property of Exiled Kurdish Political Activist

The properties and assets of Kaveh Azizi, a Kurdish political activist from Salas-e Babajani in Kermanshah province, have been seized and confiscated by order of the Iranian judiciary in favor of the "Executive Headquarters of Imam Khomeini’s Directive."
According to a report from the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the assets of Kaveh Azizi, a Kurdish political activist currently residing in a European country, were recently confiscated by order of Branch 1 of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Kermanshah, presided over by Farhad Alikhani, in favor of the "Executive Headquarters of Imam Khomeini’s Directive" in Kermanshah.
Documents obtained by Hengaw reveal that the confiscated assets include two cars, a "Peugeot Pars" and a "Toyota Rav4," as well as two residential houses in the cities of Kermanshah and Javanrud.
According to Kaveh Azizi, one of the confiscated properties, his house in Javanrud, is currently valued at approximately fifteen billion tomans and serves as the residence of his family.
The report indicates that Masoud Abdifard, a movable property expert from the "Executive Headquarters of Imam’s Directive" in Kermanshah, was responsible for executing the order.
Kaveh Azizi, originally from Salas-e Babajani and a resident of Kermanshah, fled Iran in July 2022 due to threats from the
Iranian security institutions.
