Hengaw – Friday, September 5, 2025

Two Baloch brothers, identified as Mehrallah Ijbaari, 15, and Shekarallah Ijbaari, 16, were killed by the explosion of a landmine planted by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the border region of Mirjaveh, Sistan and Balochestan Province.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the incident took place on Thursday, September 4, 2025, in the Tahlab area of Mirjaveh, where both victims resided.

Haalvsh, a local news outlet reporting on Sistan and Balochestan, confirmed that the two brothers were working on their family’s farmland in the border area of Tahlab when the mine detonated.

The IRGC has turned large parts of Mirjaveh’s border region into minefields without any warning signs, a practice that has claimed numerous victims over the years.
