Political Activist, Zahra Rezaei sentenced to 14 months imprisonment and a fine

Zahra Rezaei, a political activist, has been sentenced by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to 14 months of imprisonment and a fine of 30 million tomans.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Zahra Rezaei was recently sentenced to 14 months of imprisonment and a 30 million toman fine by Branch 26 of Tehran’s Islamic Revolutionary Court on charges of “propaganda against the government,” “insulting Khamenei,” “wearing optional attire in public places,” and “disturbing public opinion.”.
Two months ago, this woman was summoned by the IRGC Intelligence and, after interrogation and the formation of a legal case, was released on bail of 19 billion tomans.
It is worth mentioning that after Rezaei appealed the verdict, she is now awaiting a hearing in the court of appeals.
