Kurdish Kolbar critically wounded by Iran’s Border Gaurds’ direct fire

A Kolbar named Mardin Shokri, from the city of Paveh, Kermanshah province, was severely injured by direct gunfire from border guards in the border areas near Nowsud. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to medical facilities in Kermanshah for treatment.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, Mardin Shokri, a Kolbar from the village of Desha, near Paveh, was critically injured in a direct shooting by border guards targeting a group of kolbars near the Nowsud border area.
Informed sources stated that Mardin Shokri was hit in the head and neck by pellet rounds without any prior warning.
He was taken to Taleghani Hospital in Kermanshah for treatment. His condition is reported to be critical.
