Three Kurds, Azhar Dodkanlu Milan, Zabet Valilu Qezelbash, and Feryad Hajizadeh, have spent the past month in abeyance while being held in Salmas Central Prison.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, despite nearly a month passing since their arrest, these three Kurds from Salmas remain in custody without formal charges.

A source close to their families stated that their temporary detention order—after their transfer from an IRGC Intelligence detention facility to Salmas Prison two weeks ago—has been extended for another month.

During their first ten days of detention, Dodkanlu Milan, Qezelbash, and Hajizadeh were held incommunicado in the IRGC Intelligence detention center, with no access to legal counsel or family contact.

These people were arrested in early January 2025 by IRGC Intelligence forces. Feryad Hajizadeh and Azhar Dodkanlu Milan were arrested in Salmas, while Zabet Valilu Qezelbash was arrested in the village of “Goyezak” in the same district.

So far, no clear information has been made available regarding the reasons for their arrest or the charges against them.
