Abdolrahim Nazari secretly executed in Zahedan Central Prison

Abdolrahim Nazari, a Turkmen prisoner from Qareh Bolagh in Golestan Province, was secretly executed in Zahedan Central Prison.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution was carried out in complete secrecy on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, without any prior notice to his family.

Nazari, a father of three, had been arrested three years earlier in Zahedan on drug-related charges and was sentenced to death by the city’s Revolutionary Court. 

The execution has not been reported by state or judiciary-affiliated media outlets as of the time this report was published.
