Mostafa Ekrami arrested by security forces in Ardabil, whereabouts unknown

Mostafa Ekrami, a Turkish resident, was arrested by security forces in Meshginshahr, Ardabil Province. His current whereabouts and legal status remain unknown.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ekrami was arrested on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Five days after the arrest, his family has not received any information about his condition or location, despite repeated inquiries.

Authorities have not provided any official explanation regarding the reasons for his arrest or any charges that may have been brought against him.
