Baloch man Ebrahim Mallahi remains incommunicado one month after arrest

IRGC Intelligence forces have held Ebrahim Mallahi, a 43-year-old Baloch man from Minab in Hormozgan Province, incommunicado since arresting him in early July 2026. His whereabouts, health condition, and place of detention remain unknown.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mallahi was arrested by IRGC Intelligence forces in early July 2026 and has remained incommunicado ever since, with no information available about his fate or whereabouts.

The forces arrested Mallahi in the village of Kenar Esmaeil (Kenar Semal), in the Bandar-e Zarak District of Minab County, in early July and transferred him to an undisclosed location.

Despite nearly a month of repeated inquiries by his family, Iranian security and judicial authorities have provided no information about the reasons for his arrest, any charges against him, or his place of detention.
