Four Baloch men affiliated with Makki Mosque detained in Zahedan

At least four Baloch men affiliated with the Makki Mosque in Zahedan have been detained by Iranian security forces and taken to undisclosed locations.
According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Raghib Narouei, a civil engineer at the Makki Mosque, and his son were arrested on July 14, 2026.
A day earlier, on July 13, 2026, Molavi Hossein Ali Herati and Hamed Rigi were detained by plainclothes security agents on a street in Zahedan and taken to an undisclosed location.
The four men are affiliated with the Makki Mosque in Zahedan and their arrests come amid continued pressure by Iranian authorities on Baloch Sunni activists.
Efforts by the detainees’ families to obtain information about their condition and whereabouts have so far been unsuccessful.
