Alireza Khaledi, Kurdish man from Urmia, arrested by security forces

Amid the ongoing wave of arrests targeting Kurds across various cities, Alireza Khaledi, a young man from Hasanabad village in Sumay Baradust, Urmia, has been arrested by Iranian security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, following the ceasefire between Iran and Israel, Khaledi was arrested by security forces.
A source close to Khaledi’s family confirmed that the 22-year-old was detained without a court warrant. Despite repeated efforts, his family has received no information regarding his fate or whereabouts.
There is no information about the reasons for his arrest, or the charges brought against him.
