Zahed Hajari arrested by intelligence forces in Saqqez

Zahed Hajari, a 47-year-old Kurdish resident of Saqqez, was arrested by agents of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Friday, June 20, 2025, plainclothes security forces raided Hajari’s private garden residence in Saqqez.

A source close to the family told Hengaw that the arrest was carried out violently, without prior notice, and without presenting an arrest warrant.

No official charges have been announced, and Hajari’s whereabouts and condition remain unknown.
