Mohammad Zandkarimi and Masoud Amiri arrested by security forces; fate unknown

Two Kurdish men, Mohammad Zandkarimi from Dehgolan and Masoud Amiri from Qorveh, have been arrested by security forces. Their whereabouts remain unknown.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Zandkarimi, 20, was detained on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
Masoud Amiri, 35, a resident of the Farhangian district in Qorveh and an employee at a freight company in Tehran, was arrested on Friday, June 13, during the period of Israeli strikes on Islamic Republic of Iran positions. No information has been released regarding his fate.
Zandkarimi had previously been arrested in late September 2023 at his family home in Bolbanabad by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces and was later released after being held in an undisclosed location.
