Khaled Bayzidi arrested in Oshnavieh, fate remains unknown

Khaled Bayzidi, a 43-year-old Kurdish resident of Oshnavieh (Shno), has been arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Five days after his detention, no information has been made available regarding his fate or whereabouts.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Bayzidi was arrested on Thursday, June 19, 2025, by Iranian security forces in Oshnavieh. Since then, his status remains unknown, and he has not been granted contact with his family or access to legal representation.
Sources familiar with the case report that Bayzidi was detained without the presentation of an arrest warrant.
As of the time of this publication, the reasons for his arrest, any charges filed against him, and his place of detention remain undisclosed.
