Yousef Bazargan and Naseh Eizan arrested in Piranshahr, taken to unknown locations

Two Kurdish men, Yousef Bazargan and Naseh Eizan, have been arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Piranshahr and transferred to undisclosed locations.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the arrests took place on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Eizan is a resident of Piranshahr, while Bazargan, 40, comes from the village of Pasveh within the same district.

Notably, Bazargan had previously been arrested and prosecuted by the Iranian judiciary for his civil activities.

No further details are available regarding the reasons for their arrest, their current whereabouts, or the charges against them.
