Oshnavieh– Kurdish man Younes Sharifi detained by IRGC Intelligence Forces

Hengaw– Tuesday, July 22, 2025 

Younes Sharifi, a 43-year-old Kurdish resident of Oshnavieh (Shno), has been detained by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) intelligence forces and taken to an undisclosed location.

According to reports received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Sharifi was detained on Monday, July 21, 2025.
His arrest was carried out without the presentation of a warrant.

No information is available regarding the reasons for Sharifi’s arrest, the charges brought against him, or his current whereabouts.
