One Kurdish Kolbar killed, two injured by Iranian Border Guards in Marivan and Sarvabad

The Border Guards of the Islamic Republic of Iran have fatally shot a Kurdish kolbar named Amin Gordi and injured two others identified as Rasoul Fathi and Danial Salehi.
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, July 24, 2025, Danial Salehi, 24 years old and a resident of the village of Doploreh near Marivan, was shot and wounded by the border guards.
A day earlier, on Wednesday, July 23, Amin Gordi, 40 years old, a father of one and a resident of the village of Kani Tamarkhan in Marivan, was injured by gunfire from the same forces in the Tehteh highlands of Sarvabad (Sewlawa). On that same day, another kolbar, Rasoul Fathi, from Marivan, was also shot and injured.
Danial Salehi and Rasoul Fathi were shot without prior warning in the border highlands near Marivan. Rasoul Fathi sustained injuries to his lower back.
Danial Salehi was hit by two live bullets in his leg and thigh. Due to the severity of his injuries, he has been transferred to a medical center in Tehran for treatment, while Rasoul Fathi is currently receiving medical care in Marivan.
