Five Kurdish men arbitrarily arrested in Sardasht and Naqadeh

Five Kurdish men—Mehran Danesh-Amouzi from Naqadeh, and Soleiman Bayista, Mohammad Naseri, Haji Sarrafi, and a man identified only as Osman from Sardasht—have been arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and taken to unknown locations.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Danesh-Amouzi, a 20-year-old resident of Naqadeh, was detained on the evening of Friday, July 18, 2025, during a raid carried out by Iranian security forces.
In the days leading up to Danesh-Amouzi’s arrest, the other four men— Bayista from the village of Dolatoo, Naseri from the village of Sawan, Sarrafi from the village of Gurshir, and Osman (surname unknown), also from Dolatoo—were similarly detained in the Sardasht region.
All five arrests were carried out without any legal warrant, and their current whereabouts remain unknown.
No information is available regarding the location of their detention, the reasons for their arrest, or any formal charges brought against them.
