Kiumars and Mostafa Edvaei arrested in Sarvabad by Iranian authorities

Iranian security forces arrested two Kurdish residents of Sarvabad (Sawlawa), Kiumars Edvaei and Mostafa Edvaei, and transferred them to an undisclosed location.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the two men, both from Selin village in Sarvabad County, were detained on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

Sources reported that security forces raided their homes without presenting any warrant before carrying out the arrests.

No details are available regarding the reasons for their arrest, the charges against them, or their current whereabouts.
