Sarvabad— Kurdish kolbar Mohammad Abdi seriously injured by Iranian border guards’ gunfire

Mohammad Abdi, a Kurdish kolbar from Sarvabad (Sawlawa), was seriously injured after being shot by Iranian border guards in the Maleh Khor border area.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Abdi, 37, from the village of Dezli in Sarvabad County, was directly targeted and shot by border guards.
He sustained gunshot wounds to his leg and back and, due to his critical condition, was transferred to a hospital in Sanandaj (Sine).
