Kolbar Rebwar Mohammadzadeh killed by border forces in Baneh

Rebwar Mohammadzadeh, 38, a kolbar from the village of Sepidar in Baneh, was shot and killed by forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s border regiment while transporting goods in the Surkew border highlands.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the shooting took place in the early hours of Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Mohammadzadeh was directly targeted and died instantly from live fire.

He was married and the father of two children.
