Mobin Talebani and Keyvan Saeidi arrested and held incommunicado

Security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have arrested Mobin Talebani, a student from Marivan, and Keyvan Saeidi, a Kurdish man from Oshnavieh (Shno), and transferred them to undisclosed locations.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, 20-year-old Talebani was detained on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Witnesses reported that his vehicle was stopped by three security agents at the Ney intersection in Marivan while he was on his way to university.

In a separate incident on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, security forces raided the family home of 24-year-old Saeidi in the village of Singan, Oshnavieh County, and arrested him.

The reasons for their arrests, the charges against them, and their current places of detention remain unknown.
