Four university students detained in multiple cities

Iranian government forces have detained four university students in the cities of Ilam, Tehran, Najafabad, and Mashhad and transferred them to undisclosed locations.
Based on information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, security forces carried out the arrests in recent weeks, and no information is currently available regarding their condition or whereabouts.
Taha Kazemirad, a 21-year-old student of dramatic literature at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, was arrested by Ministry of Intelligence agents on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
Kian Qasrbeigi, a 19-year-old Kurdish resident of Sarableh in Ilam Province and a civil engineering student at Islamic Azad University of Ilam, was arrested by government forces on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
Aria Adavi, a 20-year-old student of metal industries at Sari University, was arrested by government forces in Qarchak, Tehran, on January 10, 2026.
Zahra Aghaei, a third-year law student at Najafabad University, has been detained for approximately one month and transferred to an undisclosed location.
