Five prisoners executed in separate cases across Iran

Five prisoners have been executed in recent weeks in the prisons of Arak, Kermanshah, Qom, Yazd, and Sari after being sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder” and “drug-related offences.”
According to information verified by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the individuals were identified as Ehsan Mahdipur, Hooman Azadi, Sultan Morad-Mohammad, Shahrokh Ghamari, and Nader Fathi.
Ehsan Mahdipur was executed at dawn on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Arak Central Prison after being convicted on drug-related charges.
Hooman Azadi, a Kurdish prisoner from Kermanshah (Kermashan), was executed at dawn on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in Kermanshah Central Prison (Dizel-Abad) following a conviction for premeditated murder.
Sultan Morad-Mohammad was executed on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in Qom Central Prison. He had been arrested around six years earlier on a murder charge and transferred from Ward 1 to solitary confinement ahead of execution.
Shahrokh Ghamari, a Lur prisoner from Khorramabad, was executed at dawn on Monday, October 13, 2025, in Yazd Central Prison after being convicted on drug-related charges.
Nader Fathi, a Gilak prisoner from Sari and father of one child, was executed on Monday, September 22, 2025, in Tir Kala Prison in Sari. He had been arrested three years earlier on a premeditated murder charge.
Iranian state media, including judiciary-affiliated outlets, have not reported these executions.
