A 60-year-old Arab citizen from Ahvaz, Shahham Soleimani, has been sentenced to ten years in prison on charges of alleged cooperation with Israel, and is currently held in Sheiban Prison.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Soleimani received the sentence from Branch One of the Ahvaz Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Ehsan Adebimehr. The court convicted him on the charge of “cooperation with Israel” and issued a ten-year custodial sentence.
