Hengaw – Friday, November 7, 2025

Three Lor men from Yasuj, the capital of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, Nima Hasanpour, Sirus Akramkish, and Mohammad-Ali Mohammadhosseini, have been detained for more than two weeks without charge or due process.

According to Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Hasanpour and Akramkish, both around 40 years old, and Mohammadhosseini, aged 45, remain held in Yasuj Prison in a state of uncertainty. Despite more than 14 days since their arrest, the authorities have not clarified the charges or allowed the men to appear before a court.

The three political detainees have been denied access to legal counsel and family visits. Mohammadhosseini, who suffers from two autoimmune conditions and diabetes, is reported to be in poor health and unfit for detention.

The men have reportedly been accused of “acting against national security.”
