Shayan Mohammadi detained by security forces, whereabouts unknown

Iranian security forces arrested Shayan Mohammadi, a 27-year-old Lor man from Izeh, at his workplace in Asaluyeh three days ago and transferred him to an undisclosed location in Bushehr Province, where he has since been held incommunicado.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mohammadi was arrested on Monday, July 20, 2026, at his workplace in Asaluyeh and transferred to an undisclosed location in Bushehr Province.

His family and relatives have made repeated inquiries with the relevant authorities to obtain information about his whereabouts and condition, but their efforts have so far been unsuccessful.

The reasons for his arrest, any charges against him, and his place of detention remain unknown.
