Lor activist Saeed Lashni rushed to hospital after violent arrest

Iranian Intelligence Department forces violently arrested Saeed Lashni, a Lor civil activist from Dorud, Lorestan Province, during a raid on his family home. Lashni was severely beaten during the arrest, and the extent of his injuries forced security agents to seek emergency medical treatment for him after transferring him to a detention facility.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Intelligence Department forces raided Lashni's family home in the early hours of Saturday, July 25, 2026, arresting him without presenting an arrest warrant.

Informed sources told Hengaw that Intelligence Department agents in Dorud assaulted Lashni and several members of his family while raiding his parents' home.

Lashni's injuries were so severe that, after transferring him to a detention facility, security agents were forced to call emergency medical services to provide him with urgent treatment.

Lashni's brother, Nasrollah Lashni, is also a political activist and has spent more than six years in prisons across Iran because of his political activities.

The reasons for Saeed Lashni's arrest, the charges against him, his health condition, and his exact place of detention remain unknown.
