Iranian authorities execute nine prisoners across nine facilities

Iranian authorities have executed nine prisoners in separate facilities across Birjand, Kashmar, Bushehr, Kashan, Nishapur, Borazjan, Shahr-e Kord, Malayer, and Ardabil. The individuals executed were Hosseinali Yeganeh, Rahim Mansouri, Majid Namjoo, Manouchehr Ahmadi, Siavash Khosravi, Mehran Chaboksavar, Saber Zahedi, Fariborz Niazi, and Mohammad Javad Aminpour, all of whom had previously received death sentences on charges of “premeditated murder” or “drug-related offences.”

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Yeganeh and Mansouri were executed at dawn on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in the prisons of Birjand (South Khorasan) and Kashmar (Razavi Khorasan) on charges of “drug-related offences” and “premeditated murder.”

Namjoo and Ahmadi were executed the previous day, Wednesday, December 3, in Bushehr and Borazjan prisons. Both had been sentenced to death on the charge of “premeditated murder.”

On the same day, Khosravi, Zahedi, and Chaboksavar were executed in the prisons of Kashan, Shahr-e Kord, and Nishapur. Khosravi and Zahedi had been convicted of “drug-related offences,” while Chaboksavar had been sentenced on the charge of “premeditated murder.”

Niazi, a Lor man, was executed at dawn on Tuesday, December 2, in Malayer Prison in Hamadan Province. He had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on the charge of “murder.”

Aminpour, a Turk man, was also executed on Tuesday, December 2, in Ardabil Central Prison on the charge of “murder.”

No report of these executions has appeared in state-run media, including outlets affiliated with Iran’s judiciary.
