Eight prisoners executed across Iranian prisons

Iran has executed eight prisoners — Borzu Beigi, Kermshah Zaki-Pour, Reza Raoufi, Morad Bahmani, Nima Karami, Mohammad Baqer Souri, Ali Rastegari, and Bahram Mousavi — in a series of executions carried out in the prisons of Saveh, Zanjan, Kashan, Kerman, Nishapur, Isfahan, Gorgan, and Dorud. All had been convicted on charges of either premeditated murder or drug-related offenses.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, three prisoners — Borzu Beigi; Kermshah Zaki-Pour, a Turkish man from Zanjan; and Reza Raoufi — were executed at dawn on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in Saveh, Zanjan, and Kashan prisons. All three had been convicted of premeditated murder.

At the same time, three other prisoners — Mohammad Baqer Souri, a Lor man from Lorestan Province; Morad Bahmani; and Nima Karami — were executed in the prisons of Kerman, Nishapur, and Isfahan (Dastgerd) on drug-related charges.

In continuation of Sunday’s executions, two additional prisoners — Bahram Mousavi, a Lor man from Dorud in Lorestan Province, and Ali Rastegari, from Gorgan in Golestan Province — were executed in the prisons of Dorud and Gorgan. Both had been convicted of premeditated murder.

None of these executions have been reported by Iranian state media or outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
