Intelligence forces violently arrest 20-year-old Sina Shakhsi in Sardasht

Iranian intelligence forces violently arrested Sina Shakhsi, a Kurdish resident of Sardasht, during a large-scale raid carried out with excessive force.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Shakhsi, 20, was arrested at around 2 a.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in Sardasht.

A source familiar with the case stated that Shakhsi was at his grandparents’ home when Ministry of Intelligence forces broke down the main entrance and arrested him with the use of violence.

Hengaw has learned that Shakhsi was transferred to one of the Intelligence Ministry’s detention centers in Urmia and remains in detention in an uncertain condition.
